New York Times on Spaceport America

Here is an excellent, well-written article on Spaceport America from the New York Times. It succeeds primarily because it references the dreams and work that went into the fruition of the project.

It took a number of minds thinking and imagining what could be to be able to what is. This is the process. It is one of the things I encourage: “See the future.”

Seeing the future makes the future become real in the present…when you get there. It’s imagining where you want to go. That’s how I got to where I am, and that’s how we will get to where we are going. By imagining where it is we want to go, how to get there, who we want to be. This is what I call being a humannaire.

This is the difference between astronaut and humannaire. Astronauts saw themselves going to space; humannaires see ourselves living in space.

Keep up the good work.
